2023 St. Augustine Orchestra
Young Artists Competition

The St. Augustine Orchestra is happy to announce the SAO 2023-24 Concerto Competition for Young Musicians. This first-time event is designed to support music education in Florida by giving talented students a chance to perform a solo piece with a symphony orchestra.

The winner will be selected through a competitive audition process and will have the opportunity to perform with the St. Augustine Orchestra on March 8, 2024, at the Tocoi Creek High School Performing Arts Center.

The winner will also receive a cash prize of $1,500.00.

This year’s competition is open to string, woodwind, brass, percussion, and harp musicians enrolled in a Florida high school (grades 9-12.)  Please note that pianists are not eligible for this competition at this time.
